Musicoro does not sell Discord API data, does not use it for advertising or user profiling, and does not use message content to train AI or machine learning models.
Who this policy covers.
This Privacy Policy explains how Musicoro, operated under the Musicoro name by Xerxes, processes information when you use the Musicoro Discord application, visit Musicoro websites, or contact Musicoro for support. In this policy, "Musicoro," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Musicoro service.
Musicoro is an independent third-party Discord application. Discord separately processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. This policy applies only to processing controlled by Musicoro.
The minimum needed to make the domain resonate.
Depending on how you use Musicoro, the service may process the following categories of information:
Discord user ID, username or display name, guild or server ID, channel identifiers, interaction identifiers, and permissions or member context supplied by Discord when required to execute a command or control.
Command names, command arguments, search terms, media links, queue actions, and other information you intentionally provide to Musicoro to request functionality.
Voice channel membership and related voice-state information needed to join, play, control, and leave voice channels. Musicoro does not record or store the spoken audio of Discord users.
Service state, errors, timestamps, connection health, requested media metadata, and limited technical identifiers that may be needed to keep Musicoro secure, reliable, and supportable.
Website information
Musicoro does not intentionally use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising cookies on its public website. Standard network information such as IP address, user agent, request timing, and security signals may be processed by hosting, network, or security providers as necessary to deliver and protect the site.
Support communications
If you contact Musicoro by email, we process the information you include in that correspondence so we can respond, investigate an issue, and maintain appropriate support or security records.
Sensitive information
Do not submit passwords, authentication tokens, payment card data, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information through Musicoro commands or support channels. Musicoro does not ask users for Discord passwords or account tokens.
Why Musicoro processes information.
Musicoro uses information only as reasonably necessary to:
- receive and execute commands, interactions, queue actions, and playback requests;
- connect to the correct Discord server and voice channel;
- maintain ordered playback, session state, controls, and service continuity;
- resolve requested media and provide the functionality you asked for;
- detect errors, abuse, misuse, outages, or security threats;
- debug and improve Musicoro using information that is minimized and, where appropriate, aggregated or de-identified;
- respond to support, privacy, legal, or security requests; and
- comply with applicable law and Discord platform requirements.
Musicoro does not use Discord API data to create advertising profiles, determine eligibility for employment, housing, insurance, credit, or similar decisions, or infer sensitive personal characteristics.
Prefix commands are read as commands, not as a surveillance feed.
Musicoro supports Discord application interactions and may also support prefix-based commands. When you intentionally invoke a prefix command, Musicoro processes the content of that command message so it can identify the command and its arguments. Musicoro is not designed to retain or analyze unrelated server conversations.
Message content processed through Discord is used only for Musicoro functionality, safety, troubleshooting, and compliance where permitted. It is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or used to train AI or machine learning models.
Who may receive information.
Musicoro does not sell Discord API data. Information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
- Discord. Musicoro communicates with Discord to operate the application and provide requested functionality.
- Media and metadata providers. Search terms, requested media links, or media metadata may be sent to services such as YouTube or Spotify when necessary to fulfill the media request. Musicoro does not intentionally send Discord account identifiers to media providers as part of ordinary media resolution.
- Infrastructure and service providers. Providers that host, secure, deliver, or support Musicoro may process limited information on our behalf, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards. This may include website delivery and security providers such as Cloudflare and email providers such as Zoho.
- Legal and safety reasons. Information may be disclosed when required by law, valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Musicoro, Discord, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity.
- At your direction. Information may be shared when you explicitly direct Musicoro to do so and the sharing is permitted by Discord and applicable law.
Musicoro does not disclose Discord API data to data brokers, ad networks, or unrelated monetization services.
Temporary by design.
Musicoro is designed around ephemeral session state. Queue state, voice-session state, and prepared media are kept only while they are needed to provide the active service and are discarded when no longer required for that purpose.
Musicoro does not maintain a persistent behavioral profile database about Discord users. If temporary operational logs containing Discord identifiers are retained for troubleshooting or security, they are limited to what is necessary and are targeted for deletion within 30 days, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, resolve a dispute, comply with law, or satisfy a valid Discord request.
Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain appropriate legal or security records. When information is no longer needed for an allowed purpose, it is deleted, anonymized, or aggregated as appropriate.
Access. Correction. Deletion. Objection.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of personal information Musicoro controls. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can also stop using Musicoro, remove the application from a server if you have the required Discord permissions, or ask a server administrator to remove it.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Musicoro Data Request." Include the Discord user ID and, where relevant, server ID needed to locate the data. Never send your Discord password or token. We may request reasonable verification before acting on a request.
Musicoro does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
The machinery stays behind the door.
Musicoro uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. These include limiting access, minimizing retained information, separating secrets from public content, using encrypted network connections where supported, restricting service exposure, and maintaining operational controls intended to reduce unauthorized access or misuse.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of unauthorized access to personal information that requires notice under applicable law or Discord's developer requirements, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, mitigate, and provide required notifications.
Discord's age requirements apply.
Musicoro is intended only for people who are permitted to use Discord. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country and any higher minimum age required by applicable law. Musicoro is not directed to children who are legally too young to use Discord, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from them.
A global service uses global infrastructure.
Musicoro and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use legally recognized safeguards or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism where available.
For users in the EEA, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, Musicoro processes personal information as necessary to provide requested functionality, pursue legitimate interests such as service security and reliability, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent where consent is legally required.
If the system changes, the policy changes with it.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Musicoro's functionality, data practices, legal obligations, or Discord platform requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner when required by law.
Questions belong in the light.
